help needed ....irrigation in florida

i have been a lawn care opperator for awhile and installed an irrigation system on my own property, my neighbor wanted help with his so i did, (i really like doing it ) now my other neighbor wants me to install one for him. ....... my ? is
1.how do you go about getting licensed.
2.for a one man show about how much is the start up cost.
and 3. what are some good books i can buy about this.

In order to get licensed in Hillsborough county you had to have at least 1 year experience in irrigation under the supervision of a licensed contractor, 2 letters of recommendation from contractors, 1 letter of recommendation from bank or financial institution, 2 personal letters of recommandation, credit check, background check, seek approval from the county board of developement, them pass the exams. Lots of hoops to jump through!
