I think the title best says what I'm trying to find out. What do you guys use or do? I'm referring to gas powered hedge trimmers. . .is there anything I can disinfect them with between jobs that won't damage the blades?
Thanks in advance.

You do clean between jobs, right?
If you have this concern, clean as usual, spray down with a bleach solution, dry, then lubricate.

10% bleach solution. I vaguely remmeber some type of copper solution you can use also, maybe copper sulphate?

I read in either lawn & landscape mag, or maybe it was turf mag, but even something as simple as using househouse disinfectant will work.

isopropyl (sp?) Alcholhal
The easist thing to use is a can of Lysol aerosol disinfectant. Cleans the hedge trimmer right up and leaves you smelling better after a long days work.
