gate mower

I have an opportunity to pick up a rear eng
snapper to use as gate mower.It is 26inch
and fairly light.Would this do for that purpose
My main machine next year will be lazer 52inch ztr
Any pros or cons welcome.I can get it for a song
compared to price of good 30 inch walkbehind.

Why bother with PITA gated lawns if there are plenty of wide open spaces to mow?

In this area there is a lotlarge lawns
with afenced area for kids and the dog to play.

Everybody has one but in my opinion, I think that if you have a lot of fenced in areas, you would be spending a lot of time backing up,pulling up to turn around, or running in circles.Mabey it might cost a little more but what about a used 36in or so walkbehind for this. I seen a guy, using a small rider in yards and it looked like when the homeowners do it theirselves. I prefer to leave a job with no doubt in anyones mind that a professional had done it.

If you didn't know, Great Dane has come out with a fold up walk-behind..It has a 52 in. deck that folds up to 36 inches so that it will go through small gate..They're probably in the $4,000 range..(I think) ... I'm thinking about demoing one for next year..Good Luck...Clean-Cut
