I used to be from the Pittsburgh area and then moved my business to Virginia 4 years ago. I'm considering moving back though.

Hello from Erie, PA. (I have a son living in Moon Township while he does a co-op with Valspar). He's a Penn State student, but he took his Nittany Lions window stickers off while he's in Pittsburgh.

I'm from around Pittsburgh. About a half hour north in a little town called New Ken. If any of you guys need help, let me know. I'm looking for something to take up the free time in the summer. I'm going to Penn State too.

My wife and I lived in New Kensinton, back in 1973 when we first got married. She worked at the hospital and I was still going to school at IUP. I remember driving back from class and knowing when I was close to home because of the smog. New Kensinton was a pretty little town then, but I haven't been back since.

there is no longer smog in the Pittsburgh area... the steel mills have been gone many years.

Yea, when I was still in school, I had friends from Beaver Falls, Monaca, Aliquippa, and that general area. When we went down to visit my son in Moon township a couple weeks ago, we drove around those places (he works in Rochester). The mills are all closed and there's not much left of the towns. It looks like anybody who had any money moved into Moon township.

My wife is originally from Elizabethtown. Her dad still lives at home, her mom's in a nursing home in town. We spend a lot of weekends in that area. My daughter just got a teaching job in Palmyra, she'll be living in Lebanon. So we kind of have you surrounded!

LOL Rtom45...Let me know if your wife's dad needs his lawn mowed.

I don't think you'd want that job. The father in law still thinks $5 to mow the lawn is a fair price! (He's 89).

You'ze guys from the Burgh: Went down to visit my son yesterday. He wanted to show the family downtown Pittsburgh. That all changed when a bunch of cops (maybe 7 cruisers all together) showed up. Guy laying on the walk, street closed down, guns out. Told the son we saw enough, lets see something else!

Hello, I live in the South Hills of Pittsburgh (I'm originally from Swissvale). I used to run a lawn care company out of Monroevile. Now I work in irrigation pretty much all over the city. Go Steelers.

Hey, I'm about 45 minutes south of the 'Burgh, and visit quite frequently. With all the shows at Mellon arena for my daughter, shopping trips, and frequent trips to Beaver Falls for hydroseeding supplies from Turbo Turf. My wife is from Uniontown, so we spend a good deal of time in Pa. on the weekends and holidays..lol
