Here is my situation. I have successfully bid on a full landscape, irrigation and water feature. The home is supplied with a potable water line as well as a seporate irrigation line that delivers about 10 gpm. Unfortunately there is some existing landscaping that was improperly designed and I am revamping the system to operate on the lower gpms. Ok, here is the problem. The pond must be plumbed with the irrigation water. A float valve will automatically fill the pond as needed due to evaporation. How can I assure that the pond doesn't fill while the sprinklers are in operation thus adding to the low pressure issues? Would you consider a booster pump inline above all this mess? Manually filling pond as needed isn't an option nor is using any of the house water in the landscape.
