This one is a 1992 Chevy c1500 with a MF 1428V on the trailer. Did some bushhogging today.

That is a snow plow bracket under the F250.

Bayfish,

Is your Pioneer the 30x40 that's listed here for $9750 ???

http://www.pioneerpolebuildings.com/pages/specials.html

According to their website that price includes tax, delivery, materials and labor for construction. That seems like a pretty good deal. Quite a few color choices too.

You guys in the States have some fine trucks and "ofices/workshops" so much room. I would not know what to do with 7.3 litres perhaps polish it!

Pretty impressive that 1500 pulls that, but why didn't you use the Power Stroke?

It would have been but I needed 14' door openings because of the height of my boat, which is kept in there as well. So I had to lay out quite a bit more.

They put it up in 3 days BTW. Concrete was done separately by someone else.

The power Stroke was pulling a trailer with 2 Hustler Z's and a 52" walkbehind. Still would have been tough on the little 1500. That Chevy did not like that load at all. The back end was swaying big time. Scary. I won't be doing it again. I left the F350 in the yard because it is too much of a PITA to change the ball from the 2 5/16 to a 2" for that trailer. I think I'll change the coupling on that trailer from a 2". Everything else has the 2 5/16.

We go on the island early on Thursdays, before everyone gets up, and try to get off early.
Parking is difficult at times, have to double park a lot. No way we would go there on a weekend. Too chaotic. Thursdays work good because the influx of weekend visitors starts on Friday, so we miss some of the traffic.
Enjoy your visit there, lots of things to do. The scenery is great.
