10,000 Gal pond one year later

Here is a pond we did last summer. We will be installing more plants this year for a more natural look. The first budget went for the water feature.

There are 9 Koi in there, and more coming.

There were some folks here that were having trouble with cranes a year or two back - they were eating the koi out of the ponds.

To beat the cranes you have to make the walls of the pond vertical and deep. A crane needs to have it's feet in the water to eat. No place for it to walk, no place for it to dine. Same goes for raccoons, they can swim, but can't hunt and swim at the same time.

Back acre i'll work any where for the right price. LOL.
