Does anyone use handheld computers or pda's for scheduling and record keeping?
I recently bought my wife a Dell Axim3 for graduation and that thing is awesome.
Just wondering if anyone here uses them.

If you run your routes solo, for me nothing is better than a chart on a clip board. I think somtimes simpler, is better.

i could see were a computer can help you out if your a solo operator or can train your crew to use the computer.Otherwise,i would use the computer myself and let the crews use paper.
Im only PT, but on my FT job Ive tried several times implement new computer things at work , it took time but it was finally accomplished.
This type of work time is money and I dont like to pay for training time.

I use one to track time spent on accounts then print it at the end of the season to compare with previous year
