I'm in SW Arkansas, and I got that 5-10 inches of rain. And I swear that the grass grew 2 inches.
Jim

I'm in Texas but not in the part that got much rain. I heard on the radio that north Texas got between 8 and 15 inches of rain. We got about a half an inch, which I will take but we're trying to establish two freshly sprigged soccer fields under drought restrictions so we could use a lot more.
bsmith

why cant it just rain at night?? that would be perfect because the grass would grow and we wouldnt have to take days off. We just got rain for a whole day and a half

WE hot a whole .07 of an inch the last rain. The whole weather pattern is out of whack. Its been that way for the past 3 years. But this year is the worst. You can see rain heading this way but it never makes it. i doubt if even a hurricane can penetrate this pattern. All the rain is just staying up north and too much of that in some areas. They have just increase the number of tropical storms we are suppose to have. But i remember the storms got a late start last year. And they had weakened by the time they had got to the coast of the US. Wonder if Lawn service people can qualify for Goverment Assistance like farmers do? lol

Us New Englanders got as much rain Monday thru Wednesday morning as we usually get the whole month of June. And 40 degrees this am, I had to turn on the furnace!
Bill
