The trick to leaf mulching

Is to move the November "winter" fert to a high N fert( 1lb N from 32 5 7) on or about October 1.

Keep the turf mowed at 2 1/2 to 3 inches so there is a canopy to hide the leaf dust.

Use the tine take twice a year (min.)to remove thatch so the leaf bits can contact the soil and decay.
