I wanted to find out what everyone is using to mark pavers for cutting with a wet saw. Currently I use a sharpie marking pen or something to scratch the surface. Both methods are pretty ilegible once the water from the saw hits the mark. Does anyone have special tool? How about a grease pencil, does anyone use this? Any help would be appreciated.

We use sharpies. I buy them 500 at a time. Never had a problem with the mark being washed off by the saw.

Why would you want to rub off the mark? We cut on the line and then the line is gone.

From my experience, crayon marks will disappear as soon as the water spray hits it if you are using a wet saw. IIRC, Sharpies work best for wet saw cutting.
