View Full Version : selling my truck on ebay......
what do you think a reasonable price would be?. i'm going to post a few pics........ its a 1986 ford F250 pick up w/ 351 automatic, 4 wheel drive. added leaf spring to suspension. it runs good everyday, just the little tlc that goes with a truck this age. i put diamond plate on the bed after having it painted 2 years ago.
and another... wish i knew how to put multiple pics on at once.
forgot the pic:o :o :o notice the amigo busy at work!!
one more, the dump truck in the back will also be for sale soon:cry:

So if your selling both of your trucks, what are you replacing them with?

I may be in need of the dump. Please tell me the specifics. Diesel, manual, make, etc. Thank you.

I would say $2k but I bet it only brings $1500 on ebay

fga, whats your ebay username.i might just bid on that pick up..
I was looking to replace them with a pick up (w/ plow) and enclosed trailer. then eventually a dump trailer. I just don't have space here for what I have. commercial vehicles can not be left on public streets (i've gotten several summonses). So if i get an enclosed trailer, fully lettered and a pick up un lettered, i could leave the truck on the street, trailer in the driveway. If i had more room, i'd just keep the dump and hook the trailer up to it.
that's exactly what I was thinking. i would like to get 2k, that's my goal. I paid $2800 2 years ago, and have made it alot nicer. but 2k is fair. it runs great, i just don't drive it anymore since i got the dump. i don't want to see it sit around, and i need the parking space in front of my house.
i have several pics on here of, somewhere. someone once told me on here "you love posting pics of that truck." I love this truck. if i had the room, i'd wouldn't think of selling it. It's an 1984 dodge 350, 4 speed manual, 360 engine (gas), it has a plow, and runs excellent. i'll put a pic on here of it, but it looks better now. I put diamond plate on the bed, and stainless steel chrome wheel simulators. it was also painted red 2 years ago. it has 3 tool boxes on the truck. One huge one on top of the dump body, then one on either side of the truck. i have since made tool racks and hangers on the side boards, really convienient. The front bumper is pushed in alittle on either side, (on purpose) so the plow would angle properly. i was going to put a new bumper on from JC Whitney, but never got around to it. Runs everyday. That's why i never drive the pick up anymore!!
i sell under my wife's ebay name, since i sell very little myself. she has a store on there, and what not selling baby clothes, make up, etc. her ebay name is......" cargostork " this is the link to her store, if you were seriously thinking about bidding. if you really did want it, i could sell it off ebay, and save some fees, but, aren't you too far away??? that's trip to pick up an '86 ford, no matter how good condition.
i have to take another pic with the chrome wheels and diamond plate!! what a difference!

how much money are you looking for, for the dodge dump?
when i put it on ebay, or where ever i sell it, i'll be looking for atleast (starting the bid a that) $3000. I bought it off a friend for that same cost, as a friend doing another friend a favor. I then made it look better and did a tune up. let me go try and take a pic with the sims and diamondplate.
and another.................... i have one more piece of diamond plate to put on, under the last word.

Good looking truck. One suggestion though....you might want to blur your license tag number. Don't want someone showing up at your house.
premiere, here's one....... let me find another one.
i'll go take one right now of the full side. I told you and showed you the only dent......

i didnt know it had a dent. please point it out
didn't you get my email? this is it. it's tiny. on the driver's side bed. in this picture, that's not one bug dent. its a tiny one, and a scratch underneath it in between the the scratch and the dent is straight.
