need some advice on a used lazerz

A local landscaper that I know is selling one of his older lazer z 60 inch deck that looks to be around 3 years old with a 25hp kohler on it. Seems to to in fair condition but the motor has 2800 hrs on it. Hes asking $3000 for it. What do ya think. I dont know to much about how it runs but I imagine its getting to the point on being replaced.

Thats a gamble with those kind of hours it may look nice but in fact may be well worn and unreliable. My Exmark Z has 1300 hours and the wear factor is beginning to show...
