"I" pattern for paver walkway?

Has anyone ever done an "I" pattern in a paver walkway? If so, do you use more material and does it take alot longer to do ? Thanks.

We use it all the time. It goes down quick. It calls for 75% 6x9's and 25% 6x6 in the field.

If your walkway will be curved I'd stay away from that pattern. Use a running bond instead. Lots of cuts with a curved walkway using an "I" pattern.

There will be a curve near the front step and a slight curve at the end, should I still stay away from the "I" pattern?

we run "I" patterns all the time. goes down real easy and looks great in the end. sounds to me you should be fine running that pattern based on what you said.
