Buck,
We do have catchers for all the Snapper Pro series mowers. The catcher is specific to the mower deck. I assume that the Fastback Z has the snapper pro deck. If it does, you can use Part # GCDN or GCDNXL. Prices are $359.00 for the GCDN and $499.00 for the GCDNXL. If you are not sure about the deck, give me a call.

Thanks Peter, it does indeed have the Pro deck. On the XL model Accelerator, when that thing gets full, how heavy is it? I know it will be different each time, but let's say the grass is moist, what kind of lbs. are we looking at? Or how many bushels? I assume it mounts to the frame somehow as the weight would affect deck performance if mounted to deck, right?

Thanks again!

Buck,
The 6.2 catcher is about 23 Lbs. when empty. Grass is between 7 and 12 Lbs. per cubic foot, so 6*12=72 + 23 = 95 Lbs. This would be if the grass is wet and if the bagger fills completley. You will find, however, that in wet grass the catcher will not totally fill (a good thing, as it would be quite heavy!) so the maximum weight should be somewhat less. As far as tipping the deck, I get varying reports from people. Some customers will use the jumbo on a 36 WB and have no problem at all. Others with a 48 or 52 will report that the catcher causes a slightly uneven cut as it gets full. Try pushing down on the edge of your mower deck and see how much pressure it takes to push down. The harder it is to do this, the less problem a heavy bagger will be. When I designed the catcher, I made it somewhat narrow and long so it would not "lever" the deck as much as a wider bagger. You might look at some of the other posts on lawnsite about this or give me a call.
