I have a Skag Advantage belt drive with the 15 HP Kohler. Can I use a Proslide with this mower? Could someone send me a link to the official site? I cant seem to find it.

www.novae.com..., but look on Ebay, I got mine there for around 250.00 off list price. I have it on a 36" belt w/ 12.5 Kawi, pulls me fine(I weigh about 240-245 BTW)

The official site is www.scag.com. The Proslide is not available but the Stand-on Sulkies are. For a single wheel list price is 339.99 our price is 299.99 and for a double wheel list is 369.99, our price is 329.99. For more information please call Levi at (800)-287-2048. Thanks

Hey envirochopper, you wouldn't happen to be a dealer or distributor , would you? Why would you direct someone to the scag website for a novae product??You are in flagrant disregard of the forum rules by misrepresenting...I bet Sean or Chuck would be intersted to see this.....:(

Funny, I couldn't find the wheeled sulkies on Scag's website!:p

I do know Wright makes Velke models pre-painted to match Scag mowers, but apparently Scag doesn't list them as accessories.
My Velke X2 went $275 at my Cub Cadet Commercial dealer FWIW.

hehe, I know not the least bit related to a Proslide... I can't wait to see someone actually using the Proslide, it's something I want to see up close and personal. Their vids are pretty impressive.

Hey Chuckers, thanks for the proper link. I forgot to add "corp" to the link..RatherBeFishin-the stripes are amazing from the Proslide, and yes, people do stare at you to see if you're doing some trick behind the mower w/o a velke! But not as many stares as my Standers get around here, and yes, they stripe excellent too. I just put mulching kits on them last week..one word..awesome..PM me if you are interested in the Proslide, I can send you the phone # to a dealer in Chicago who has them for 125.00..., new and in the box..:D

Take a trip west to Oregon. The proslide is all I use. I have had it for 2 years now ran it down cement, asphalt and rocks and I still haven't replaced the plastic slide yet. It acts as a sulky and a striper all in one. The only gripe I have is when you are going down a steep hill and slow down you end up under the mowers handle bars. other than that the best in my opinion.

Had my proslide for a week today. On bramuda grass it does fine. Only problem I have had is with wheels spinning on turns and getting going. Seems to be getting better with experience. Like that it keeps you directly behind the walk behind rather than pivoting. Running it behind a 52 belt with a 17 kaw and the mower hardly knows it is there so you should be fine. Front end gets a little light as I am 238 or so. Check out ebay, got mine from a company out of Baltimore for 140 with 18 for shipping and handling. Thinking about getting another for my 36 12.5 kaw but do have some reservations about pulling my weight with it. Other lawn companies stop and watch me on it as there are no others down here, kinda of a kick.

200 is not sweat. At the begining of the season I usually run around 220 and it still works fine. I have the 15hp kawi on the 36" toro. no sweat.
