hey im wondering, when start a lawn business, how many times do you cut a persons yard? like twice a month? or just wait till they call you?

uh we do it weekly around here if not every 3 to 4 days in the spring if they fert and alot of rain

in business it is important to keep your overheads down right?

forget about needing commercial gear and insurance etc, don't need it.

A tip....mowing and trimming right?

OK, just go get yourself a Ryobi line trimmer and a broom, this can be carried in the back of a car, no trailer needed!

Don't need a mower because you can use the line trimmer to mow, just just sweep it sideways about 3ft wide up and down the yard, this will give nice stripes too.

this is good advice ya know. The only reason these other guys don't do this or admit they do is cause they never thouht of it, some of these guys with big expensise gear aren't too bright ya know....
