48" metro motor

[Engine 41]

Not sure if I am asking this correctly, but what model # or size kawasaki motors will fit a 48" metro? I need to get a replacement but was not sure if I could just pick up any motor or did it have to be just like the one that is on there. Can you upgrade in size or are the specs diff.? Thank You

Over the years we've put on everything from a 12.5 hp Kawaski to the 15 hp v-twin Kawasaki. There are several engine choices that may work but some will create some additional work. If you e-mail me at terry.eckert@exmark.com with your serial number I should be able to tell you which engines were available for your machine.
