View Full Version : Yet another toy.... wife's gonna be JUST a little upset

Had one of my Ferris' getting 1200+ hours and seeming like it was in the shop more than on the trailer. I know I know, 1200 hours is nothing, but I like to run new equipment, under warranty, and on my trailer, not in the shop or in my garage.

Anyways, Kubota, running the 0% for 3, enitced me into giving the dealer my mower and $5500 for this.......:D

Wow, that looks like a nice machine, good luck with it.

Wish we had a dealer near us...I would like to try one of those.

mmm kubooooooootaaa. i ran a diesel kubota for a homeowner for a couple years. it was a "garden tractor" but it still cut really well and was an awesome machine. I imagine the commercial stuff is just as good, if not far superior.

Is that last years model or were you able to order it without the ROPS?

First thing I did when I got it home was take the ROPS off, 16 bolts, about 25 minutes.

About what would one of those cost if you don't mind me asking?

The second one that I bought last year was listed about $12.6k.

Whoa, for a second there I read your post as 5500 for the mower and couldnt figure out how you could get a big diesel mower for 5500. I was about to call the dealer!!

I demoed a ZD25 today and liked it very much. I am going to buy one in the spring but I will wait for the new version (ZD236) to get to my dealer.

I have found that the 1000-1500 hour mark is a great time to trade in. By this time it seems the mower will nickel and dime you to death. Smart move I think. Sounds like your dealer gave you a pretty fair shake.
