Year model of new mower

I have been reading the forum and would like to know if the new mower I am thinking about purchasing is an 03 0r 04 model. It is a Super Z, 52" cut with 24 HP Honda. Can I tell for sure by looking at the serial no.? I pretty well trust my salesman, but he might try to slip a 2003 model in on me. I know it is new, but now sure about the year.

They have not changed much in the last couple years, unless it is a Mini or Super Mini (we went to 23" tires on them last fall).
The serial # will tell you what month it was manufactured.
E-mail me the model and serial # and I can let you know what you have.
