calculations ?????

does anybody know where or what the formula for finding the sqr feet of a lot. when you have the liner foot of a five sided lot none of the sides are the same its built in a (coldasac) sorry thats hard one to spell. any help would be great. need to figure sod.

break it down into a large rectangle/square. then do all triangles for the rest.

square = length X Width
triangle = base x heigh / 2

use flags or sticks to mark where you're starting /stopping your measuring
