Is there any type of "end of year" sales that dealers will put up when the season is over?

I'm only 17, and when I was telling my father I'm getting a $200 trimmer, he was like, "Why not just wait until the season is over, and then buy the items."

Do some dealers hold "end of year sales" to get rid of this year's equipment?

Yes they do and you can get good deals if you can talk fast.

Start reading all the papers and watch the adds. Homeowners buy most of their stuff in the spring but you dont want that stuff anyway. Commerical LCOs will buy most of the year as they need it but still will slack off in fall, (but not much in FLA) so watch the adds. Start going shopping now at a few dealers and they will start filling you in as to what they want to get rid of. Just be sure you know why they have to clear it out as you don't want to buy junk that nobody wants.
