Mulch kit with standard blades

When I purchased my Super Z I also purchased the mulch kit and gator blades. Would there be a problem using the mulch kit and the standard blades that are already on the mower? Or should I switch to the mulch blades?

The reason for the mulch kit and blades were to take care of the leaves in the fall, not necessarily to mulch the lawn clippings.

Try doubling up on the blades. Put the gators on top and standard on the bottom in a cross configuration without the mulch kit. It's easy to do and it works great.Use longer bolts to be on the safe side.

You will need to find the blade set up that works best for the conditions you cut.
Different types of grasses and of course moisture and length of the grass will directly affect the type of results you will experience when mulching.
Generally the Gators in dry conditions (grass or leaves) will work best.
