Almost all the material was left overs from other jobs. The plant list goes
Hinoki
Spreading yews
Hamlin
Flax
Spirea
Weeping Birch
Hopsi Spruce
Stella Daylillys
Black Eyed Susans
Speedwell

The Perrenials are all one gallons so they are a little small but should fill in nicely in a bout a month, but what more can ya ask for when its free

Looks 100% better man, sweet install, and everything being free....priceless heh. The pond looks nice and the weeping birch is awesome.

Looks great, especially for free! Being from southern AZ I don't know as much about cooler climate trees. What is the mature size for that spruce? Also, what's your plan of attack with the power/phone lines with the birch in a few years?

trimming trimming and trimming......maybe eventually it will need a transplant away from the lines

Maybe I just didn't see it on the 'after' pics, but is the large tree to the left of the house still there or did you take it out?

the large tree is still there its a huge pine tree, i cut the edges with a shovel, and the pond does need a few more rocks but they came from what was lying around in the yard

Hey Chuck
Check out what it costs to have the lines sunk below ground. My dad is having their's done and the utility company quoted my dad $250 to $300 for everything including the new junction box. Not bad!

I think you'll like the continued color the daylillies will provide. Pretty popular up here too. B/E susans should be making a show soon, too.
