Direct mailing.

I have been reading all of the great pieces of advice on this forum and have a question concerning direct mailing. The consensus suggests that this is one of the best ways to put your name out there. So what is the best way to go about this? Do you just roll through a neighborhood that fits your target customer and write down addresses, go home and mail flyers to those address? Just a question. Thanks for all of the past help. You guys are great!

That's a simple way of doing it and sometimes keeping it simple is best.
