What time do you start with your residential accounts each morning? This will be the first really hot week here and I want to get going as early as possible.

We rarely start before 9:00 am. I find that starting later in the morning eliminates most of the " heavy dew " problem I have here I Central Pa.

We also only mow (3) days per week, so it's really no problem anyway you slice it....

I'm out the door at 7:30. Whenever I get to my 1st account is when I start.

All the equipment is loaded up and ready to go earlier in the morning, and we leave the house at 8:45 faithfully. Get to the first job no later than 9:05 each morning.

Pull up to the shop at around 6:45 or 7:00a.m. and at the first lawn by 8:15 or 8:30. Around here the dew is really heavy in the mornings, by 9:30 or 10 its burning off. If we get out before 8:30 we try to schedule a small commercial account.

only have 1 residential and usually do that one at noon. Some of my commercials I do at 6:00am. Need to get back to my sales job(sell telecom & data equipment) till 11:30am then off to do a couple more lawns during lunch, then back to the office. Leave office at 4:30pm and finish off my day by knocking out a couple more commercials, usually have the mowers blown off and all packed away in the shop by 7:00pm or so.

Some days can seem pretty long...Can't wait till next year and ditch the sales gig.

Only have residentials right now in my first year, start at 8am as I am only mowing 3 days a week, Monday-Wednesday. When I start getting more accounts next year, I may fire up at 7:30.

Every day, M-F, at 7 AM. No matter what the conditions( rain, frost, or dew). The way that I figure it is, alot of our customers are up for work and the rest are elderly who seem to be up whenever you get there.

I used to start at 8am, but received a lot of complaints from customers and neighbors. So I start at 9am now. It actually is a lot better for me. Everything is dry and no sprinklers to worry about.
