Very nice! Love the dumper, is that the one your employee pulled the gas pump around the block with?:D

Very clean and professional looking, nice work too. I'm hoping that's where my business ends up in a couple/few years. Don't know how long it'll take me to get there but we're working at it.

Keep up the good work.

you said you weedwhip that entire hillside along the road!!?!? i know the picture doesn't do it justice as to the angle i'm sure, but i think a walk behind could easily manuever around on that

Up North
07-13-2004, 01:32 PM
It must be the picture doing injustice to the angle. I was thinking my Z would handle that no problem. I do some ditches and hills that appear to be steeper than that hill does.

Best to error on the safe side however then roll your Z to the bottom...:blob2:

Five Star Lawn Care LLC
07-13-2004, 06:48 PM
yes the hillside can be handled by a w/b and i have done it but it ruts the heck out of it and the property is just to high profile to be all rutted to hell...it is a little yellow in the pic put it comes right back after a couple of days.

Five Star Lawn Care LLC
07-13-2004, 07:02 PM
heres the lovely veiw of the road from the hilltop....something about a tire sliping and going out of control and off the retianing wall into oncomming traffic and getting hit by a 18 wheeler just doesnt appeal to me.....i dont doubt that anyone on a good day could hang this hill....but what makes me afraid is that bad day that the tire slips and someone gets hurt...thats why now one is allowed on the hill with a ZTR except for the first pass.

am going to dinner will be back on later with some fresh pics that the guys just shot today

Nice to look at it during winter too.

What kind and size mowers did you use on this property to make those stripes? Did you have a stripe kit? Thanks!!

At the time (3.5 years ago) they were using dixie choppers. One 60 and one 72 incher. Stripes look like that because dixie pushes the rear tires out to the extreme width of the deck which leaves a nice defined stripe without any deck overhang.
