What does everyone use to lift their mowers to work under them? (Take off blades, tighten bolts, and clean under deck)

For my WB's I use muscle power and prop up with a 2x6. ;)

If you place your mower at the back edge of your trailer and tilt it back with the back wheels on the ramp, there is alot of clearance. You can also turn it on its side with the carb up.

We use the Jungle Jims "Jungle Jack" and it works very well. It will lift the ztr's as well as the wb's without any problem and it is much more safe than a 2x4.

We use a 5 gal bucket upside down for our WB. A come along from the rafters of the garage for our riders.
I just lift up the front of my w/b's and set them on a jack stand. This seems to work fine. With the jack stand you can adjust the height of the lift to suit your needs.

back up the trailer ramp. Turn to the side. Back wheels on the ramp. Front on the street or in the air. This allows you to remove blades.

My Toro Pro-line 52 i tip on its side, as for my Walker mower lift up for service I love those Walkers, now if we can put tilt decks on our walkbehinds we would be alset!

Most responses were for walk behinds. What about the midmounts like the Exmark or Chopper?
I make my wife hold my Grasshopper deck up while I change the blades. Just kidding, I either use a floor jack, or I lifk the deck on to a Metal stand.

When I change blades on my DC's, I pull it up on the tail gate's left side so the deck hangs out over open space. The right front wheel will be about 6" or less from the left side of the tail gate and the rear right wheel I stop just before it starts to go up the gate. I then pull the parking brake on the new one or put a chalk block behind the wheels on the old one. This way you can change the left and middle blades very easy and reach under the discharge chute to do the right side. You can also move the machine to the other side for the right side, but I have no problems reaching under the chute opening to do this.

I use the same approach as Eric. It works well no matter if I'm at home or out on the job. I use this method to change blades, scrape or wash out the deck.
I use a Hi-Lift Jack to raise the front of my DC to change blades. It works well on DC's front bumper.

I use car ramps if I'm at home and the gate technique if I'm in the field, have used a cherry picker but no longer have it.
I push the button on my Ferris. It is a very handy feature.
