Gravely Grips?????

I have an older Gravely pro 60 it has those great big safety grips on the handles the saftey part is no longer hooked up, and the bars in the grips hurt my hands Has anyone removed these style grips and put on something else????

Check out the bike section at Wal-mart. I have seen a lot of bicycle handel bar grips use on just about everything. There even make some really soft gel filled one now.
