Hydraulic unit failure

I have a FasTrak 44" with a 18hp Honda with 45 hours on it. The right hydraulic unit failed. I purchased my unit last summer. My lawn is approximately 2 acres with no hills. My unit serial number is 03037216.

Are the hydraulic units of the type on my mower prone to failure? Should both units be replaced? Should a unit fail after 45 hours? Are the hydraulic units on my mower the maintainable units PJ mentioned in an earlier post or are they the previous unit?

Your FasTrak has the serviceable type upgraded IZT's already installed.
There were a few units that Hydro Gear manufactured with the incorrect filter in the IZT's, your unit has them.
The IZT's need to have the new filters installed in them and it will take care of your problem.
It is a quick and easy procedure and your dealer can take care of it, please contact them.
This is a warranty item.
