Not sure about the Toro but I have the 2000 Exmark with 26 efi and love it. I bought the machine late in the season and it has done wonderful mulching leaves. It starts great in cold weather. I think the 26 efi is the best engine out there for medium-high price mowers. So far I love mine.

Hope this helps,

Don't know about the Toro but I have a Walker with the 26efi
and it's been an excellent motor.Very torquey and economical.

More power? Better fuel economy? Ease of starting?(no choke) What more could you ask for? And incidentally, though this package is CALLED a 26 hp, it is rated at closer to 29hp. You can't go wrong! I have one on an Exmark, and if I was going to buy another one tomorrow, I would do it again.:)

This is an excellent choice.it makes the 72"exmark go great, can imagine what it will do on tthe 62".

DMC300,

Geez, where have you been for the past 6 months? I had posted a thread asking where you had been several months back. I remember you had bought a EFI Lazer and I wanted to know where you bought it?

That's what I thought. Is Commercial Lawn Equipment the name of the dealer? If so I talked to them a few months back. Have they been pretty good to deal with? Any trouble with the mower?

YES SORRY C.L.Equipment,is right.they should have already opened the shop in lakeland also. They take pretty good care of you considering the amount of business they do. No trouble with the E.F.I,The only trouble is with employees and the anti-scalp rollers.
