tractor work

im thinking of buying a compact tractor 4x4 25-30 hp range ,i will use it mainly for hauling logs and for general tree related work ,but with so many low-ballers around this year im thinking of diversefying what else i could do with a compact tractor any ideas on money makeing jobs with a tractor..what do you guys with tractors do with your machine..thanks for any replies

also any reccomendations for a tractor, size ,make etc

I have a 3710 Kubota and am glad I stepped up from the smaller compact tractors.Also if buying Hydrostatic drive it will need a few more HP.If you have to lift heavy loads high the smaller tractors will tip over easy.
Bushogging and field mowing are excellent supplements for income.

If you are moving logs, look at the L series, the B series would be too small for you. The L series sit highter off the ground, which is good for going throught the woods.
