When to plow?

When do you guys plow? Do you guys start when it get's about 5 inches? Do you charge by the inch? By the plowing? How do you all charge?

I go out at 2-inches, and just charge "per plow".

One mistake I made was not charging more for 5-10inches... I just figured I'd come back again. Doesn't always work out that way. Charge a certain amount up to 5", and anything over, I would charge more.

1-2" commercial,any less,just salt/sand.3" residential.All commercials that are open during the storm get pre-treated to keep from packing snow to ice.
