bunton question

Hello Everyone,
I have an older 48 Bunton walk behind that I am trying to bring
back to life. Blades that I removed are 16" but everything I am
reading says the V-Deck uses a 16 1/4" blade. Looks like the longer blades would fit no problem. When remounting blades does a certain configuration work better than any other?

Not sure what you mean by configuration?? The blades do not need to be timed, but I would use the correct blade length. Too short of blade will leave strips of uncut grass when making gentile turns...Chuck

What I was thinking by configuration is one blade at 12 o 'clock,
one at 2 o' clock, one at 4 o'clock.
