Well, I use my parents property to dump all my lawn debris there. So tonight I go over there, dump my grass clippings and decide to go in the house and say hi before taking off for home.

I say hi, and start to back out of the driveway, and whoops! I backed over his brand new maple tree. He was not a happy camper.

So I tried to fix it, but I don't think the survival of that tree will be too much longer.

I would hope you will replace it.

I cannot express how much I have "dumped" on my dad....

He loved me, and left me my name, plus some money, some land, some morals....etc...

do the right thing!

But since I am in my 40's, I prolly have a different set of values than you....

Those guys, our dads....love us no matter what....

well, I put sphagnum moss over the open areas, and covered them. Now I just have to wait.
Trust me, this won't be the first tree that I have had to replace for him. Growing up there we had something called "ATV's".....end of story

Oh, marrone! You crushed your dad's maple?

Unless you want him to cross your a** out of his will, you better replace the tree!

ya, now I know what you are talking about it. I totally forgot I had that.

I actually just think I was in a big hurry to get out of there and I just forgot about the trees. He just planted them last year

What? No shredded grass?

Apparently you didn't step harder on the gas when you felt a little resistance.

Nice place he has there, he mows it himself?

That could be my Dad sitting there, watching me fix the tree and offering suggestions on which way to wrap the tape.......

And then slipping me twenty to buy the crew some muchies or golden soda.....
