lesco 48 belt, 14 KAW. highly recommend.

dunno about the viper II, but the viper does not have a good reputation.

These are great machines. The Ztwo is a major improvment over the Viper( I own both and the Viper has given us no major problems at all in 3 yrs.) I say go take a look.

I have a viper zrII have had it for three years no trouble at all. The only thing I would recomend is the peco bagging system. Also the rear tires are real aggresive you have to ease into your turns or you will rip up the lawns. other than that I love it.

That 72 is a cutting machine, runs circles around the 60's

I have a peco type collection system that goes on my old 60", for spring/fall time.

I wish I had the kind of grass where I could use one of those.

a rider might be in my future but it seems an out front deck would be more servicable to me.

I dunno.

it's fun to think about!

I have a lesco 48 belt drive walkbehind with a fixed deck. The thing is an excelent mower. Do not get the lesco bagger it is a POS. I will look into accelerator bagger later today. The year I have has a STUPID fuel shut off. The fuel shut off is fixed in the 04 models. I wish I had my digital camera it lays down verry nice stripes. Lesco in my area has no mechanics on duty. They keep all parts stocked so if you can fix stuff no problem. Its cheeper to fix yourself anyway. I think next year I will get either a wright stander or a lesco 52 hydro. I would like the stander but at 6000 thats alot of moula the lesco 52 hydro is about 3700.

Fareway.. Every picture I take is copyrighted. It just gets copy/pasted into them before I post them here or on my website.

dcondon- I know it wasn't on. I took that pic when it was at the dealer's house, and he didn't put it on.. lol

I have Z Two with 310 hrs on it and must say for the little I've used it I have had it in the shop 3 times. RPM's kept dropping out and still not 100% happy. I find the service end of things unorganized and parts are not always on hand, they keep calling other shops for parts. Tires are very aggressive and especially if you have a Peco system on back as extra weight is not compensated for in tire manufacturing. Peco system is great for pick up but a problem for getting into and around mature trees. My 48'' bobcat WB still leaves a better cut. Overall I wouldn't buy one again. Sorry for going on so long

None of the things you talked about concerns the make, in this case Lesco, sounds to me like a motor brand issue, and as far as the peco type, it would be the same if it was on a dixie or scag. They do at least you can get a 3 bag setup for a cub. It would be nice if the lesco dealer where you bought it could take care of it, when and if they would require it. If its out of warranty take it to a cub commercial dealer, remember I said commercial dealer. I run the same tire on whether the system is on, or off, only thing I do is transfer the weight's to the front, plus add one.

I have the 54" Cub Cadet Tank with the Peco Vacuum system. I put more air in the rear tires when the bagger is on. Take some out when the bagger is off. I leave 2 weights on the front all the time, I put a bumber hitch (Balard One) on the back that adds some weight. Mature trees that are cut under should be pruned.
