How do you guys go about raising prices for a customers lawn that is now under priced.

I started young and had low prices just to get in tha business but now want more money for certin accounts.

i'd probably wait until next year.plus since your only 13 you dont need Uncle Scam coming after you anytime soon..

im 15 now and got 20 accounts

if you were a legit business i would say write a letter explaining the increase is due to:
increased cost of living
increased insurance premiums
increased fuel costs (biggie).

If you knowingly underpriced the lawn to get the account, you should leave the price as is until next year. Raising a price at mid-season should only be done if costs have risen to a point that it is justified to raise the price. If you are losing money on the account because of fuel costs, equipment cost increases, insurance costs...etc then you might talk with the homeowner and explain the situation. Otherwise leave it alone until next year.
