Broken cable on Western

OK, I just had the angling cable break on my Western pump. I have a spare, but I am unsure of the proper way to replace it, and I have no manual. Funny, I have two trucks with the Western cable-operated unit plus I have had 3 others in the past, and I have never had to replace a cable. Even though I blew up on Western the other day (I've since gotten over it) I'd have to say that I am pretty pleased with all of their cable-operated units that I've had. So, how do I do it?

I have done cable replacement on fishers but never westers.

The cable connects into the joy stick, and the valve body.

It can be done with standard tools and is just a matter of unbolting the old cable and bolting in the new one. However the cable can be adjusted, that takes up more time than anything else.
