Core Aerating

Can anybody give me a rough idea how long it would take to core aerate a half acre flat lawn with very few obstructions? I plan to go over the lawn in two different directions. Thanks.

my machine is slow like a turtle but pulls great plugs. I can only do about 6000 sq feet per hour...I'm guessing that other folks will tell you they can do considerably more than that per hour with other machines.
