What were your first pieces of equipment when you started in the lawn care business?

ryobi electric trimmer and a ryobi push mower.

now we've got a shindaiwa t231, t261, and a toro proline. I'm hoping to be able to buy an exmark wb some time around december.

My first gear since I started up this time was... 21" Snapper ( 89 model ) and my br 420, Kawi trimmer, and Junky push edger.. I bought all new commercial 2 stroke gear, and chumped out on the mower, which BTW cost $20 bucks, and made me about $250 before the motor laid down....

**All of my original equipment was bought by an old neighbor which I traded out cutting his grass for free since he bought me the equipment. To this day he and his family are still my families best friends and his yard along with my parents yard are the only ones which I cut for nothing. (which I don't have to do anymore but do it anyway)**

John Deere stx38, western auto 18 inch pushmower, homelite trimmer, and an off the wall blower cant remember the name, and I hauled in in the back of an S10 pick up

Craftsman garden tractor, weedeater brand trimmer (also served as push mower), and weedeater brand blower. Trimmer lasted 3 years and still running

Walker ZTR 25/48'' 2nd hand with high lift catcher. 2000 mod.

honda 1.5 hp trimmer

Atom edger.

Stihl bg85 blower.

trimmer, blower and edger still going strong, replaced Walker with Toro Z355, replaced that with a Toro Z588E this January.

Wow this is gonna hurt

It was like 1979 ..... had an old chevy van .... banana yellow with a white stripe ..... had some ramps .... little push mower & a 31 or 33" Craftsman rider, electric weed eater n blower with like 150' of cord, 3-wheeled edger (still have in the shed) .....

In HS with no worries beyound what's going on this weekend, girls n the grateful dead ..... not always in that order
