GA lawn , st. Augustine Grass

Any chance I can overseed st. Augustine in my yard(fescue) in North GA & make it work. Front yard is really shady & back is not as shady but still not full sun. Thanks

Can't seed St.Augustine,but you can plant plugs or sprigs and they'll fill in nicely.

I sprigged some areas in my backyard 2 yrs ago and they have really covered a large area from the few I planted. They really thrive in the partial shade areas.

Thanks guys. Can you buy sprigs at a sod farm or online somewhere?
