View Full Version : Work is coming in left and right

I can't believe the number of phone calls for estimates I have received in the past 2 weeks. I am going out doing at least 2 to 3 estimates a day. I am landing about 60% of the work too.

What is funny is that the number of people that complain about the price, tell me they will call me back tomorrow after they talk with it over with their husband/wife (which usually means they are going to say no) and when they do call back they want me to do addition work as well.

I am loving it!

Tiedeman, what do you do for advertising? I assume the Yellow Pages since they are calling you like crazy. Or are these people that know of your service from the past or flyers maybe?

Glad to hear it's raining down business for ya man!

most people for lawn renovation type projects are through the yellow pages, while the other is word of mouth.

Word of mouth is still the best type of advertisement

thats awsome.... word of mouth is awsome. worked for me, all the time people call and say so and so reccomended me to you.

i spent 500$ in the begining of the year on C&G news paper, and i didnt even get one call. it went to over 15k homes!!!

word of mouth is the best, actually I'm dropping my yellow pages add this fall.

NC Scaper...have you had any luck with our Yellow Pages here in WS? I have been thinking about it, but it doesn't seem to be worth the money. Nor does the newspaper. I look through the YP's and there must be 75 LCO's advertising in there.

Sounds good, good for you !

Greensneakers no i really haven't tried our yellow pages, but i know what ya mean by all the lcos in there, I have done great without it and most people around here know the lco that they are looking for when they start looking in there
