08-13-2004, 12:10 AM
Hope all is well with the folks living there.......
We had one go through half a block down the street from us in our old house about 5 years ago, it went through a wooded patch of ground so no houses were affected...........as well we saw one that same night before we got home to discover our own area,BIG funnel cloud that ran over what used to be bethlehem steel grounds.........scary sight.

Again I hope all is well...............

Hey Merlin, those look like Modular Homes. Are they? Hope everyone there is okay as 3 folks died yesterday in NC from the storms.

Rained out here too as the grass is really wet, but I hope we can get out maybe around 2-3Pm and get some done. The ones I missed yesterday here are very nice lawns in 500K neighborhoods that we have worked very hard getting right and I just can't bear the thought of the big back tires on the mowers digging in that wet grass so I am going to try and let it dry up a little this morning. At least that's the plan.

that's awful, hope all is well there. That's a ton of modular homes, makes you realize you get what you pay for with those

That's terrible, You and your family are in my prayers, your neighbors too...

I need to go south and make some $$$!

All seriousness, I hope no one was hurt or killed. Buildings and belongings can be replaced.

I hope that no one was hurt. That really gives one the idea of the power that nature has.

What class Tornado did the damage, F2 or F3 mabey? I was just curious if anyone knew. Hope everyone was unhurt. Mother nature can be nasty and is very unpredictable.....

My parents were very fortunate, they got hit my an f4-f5 tornadoe here in Kansas and they were lucky enough that it cleared everything from the floor up, no walls no carpet, no stuff. Made it easier to rebuild! Took the cars about a 1/2 mile down the road.

Not good.. Heard that was happinging but the upcoming Bonnie and Charles were taking all the news so did not know how bad. Hope you and the neighbors are OK. Hang on today as it sounds like it might start again. 8am now and it is pouring but no wind. Good luck
