Spindle Grease for SCAG products

Scag recommends the following 5 lubricants for their deck spindles.

Mobilix #2 found at Mobil Service Stations
Ronex MP found at Exxon Service Stations
Super Lube MEP #2 & Super Stay-M #2 found at Conoco Stations
Shell Alvania #2 found at Shell Service Stations
Lidok EP #2 found at industrial shops

Will any good quality NLGI #2 lithium grease be OK to use, or is there something specific about these 5 lubricants?

Also, any idea of where one can be purchased online?

any gease is better than no grease.

I look for "high-temp" grease, get the best stuff you can, it's what, 2.50 a tube instead of 2 bucks? Still cheaper than a spindle.

Try to find scheaffer grease if you can, ask the local farmers etc what they use, thier equipment goes thru all types of abuse, around here most of the farmers and equipment operators use scheaffer #227 grease, repels water, top notch lube.

I use mystic and have never had a problem. I buy it at my local form store. Most of the farmers use this grease here in my area.
