Hi everyone,

I've read a lot of posts here concerning underbidding and how to get your money from those people you have underbid ...but...

Question: What do you do when you overbid? Do you return the money that you overcharged the customer or do you pocket it.

I'm just starting out and have done neither...but my thought's are that if I over charge for a service ...I'll simply return the amount I didn't earn. As far as underbidding and taking a hit...that's my fault not the customers....your thought's?

No Way will I return anything once the price is there it's there.

Just as I underbid I have to eat it.

My thoughts exactly. Giving someone a fixed price is taking an educated guess. Sometimes you are too low, too high, or just right. The exception is with mowing contracts. Someone could be your customer for the next 50 years. Are you gonna eat it every week for the next half century?
