Hey guys. Who makes the best edger? I have both stihl weedeaters and echo weedeaters, and I am a little more pleased with the stihl. Any opinions on edgers?

Stihl fc110....Its the only one I've used so I can't compare it to any others but its hard to imagine another stick edger doing a better job.

I still have not found a great edger. Used four different ones so far, and haven't been pleased with them

I use all echo edgers, Been using one of them going on 4 years now. I can't get it to break down (knock on wood). I have been very happy with them.

I have a stihl fc75 it works great. Could use a little more power on the first time edging, but besides that it does the job great. If I would go with the 85 or the 4mix if you had the extra cash and could justify it.

Tanaka walkbehind. Get one on ebay.

In the days ,when we still used walbehind edgers the john deere E35 was a humdinger. Its discontinued now but it was a great edger .

Dont even own a walkbehind no more with great power of stick edgers like fc 110 no need for an walkbehind to take up space on the trailor.

The fc 110 4 mix has a lot of low end grunt its been excellent edger for me i recommend it highly.

Little Wonder Xtra Edger. Pricey, but well worth the investment.

I use the Sthil 85 edger. It work really well for established and starting new trenchs.

Stihl FC110 Hands down. Thanks go out to Odin and the others who gave this machine high marks when I asked about it. I could not be happier and I even told the dealer every time I pick up this machine I start to smile.
