trailering a fixed deck

i recently bought a fixed deck 36 inch mower. i have never had a fixed deck mower. i have always been able to raise the deck to put it on the trailer. how can i get it up there without scratching it to death?

Push down on the handle and the deck will just ride up the hump and than settle once the back wheels hit the floor.
Are you saying that you always adj. the deck when you put it on the trailer? doesn't that eat a lot of time?
