A friend of mine thinks that urea comes from urine. I think its a compound that is in urine, but is derived made synthetically for fertilizer usage. Can anyone shed the light?

Urea is made from liquid nitrogen. It sprayed from the top of a tall tower, then Co2 and water are sprayed on it on the way down to form the prills. It is derived from natural gas and is considered a organic/synthetic fertilizer. Neal

yeah sure Neal, that sounds cool but I think it's the urine. At least that's what I have been putting on the bushes in the back lawn and they are growing good.
