Yup, Nice indeed! I agree with i_plant_art on the F-250. Look at the bright side, you would have more room for other workers.

He blew the engine on the work truck. But would he treat his own vehicles the same way he treats them. I work for publick works and the guys that drive us around beat the #$%^ out of the work vehicles (all ford) and they last long. One has over 150,000 of pure bull#$%^ from the workers without any repairs.

yup blew the engine up. Its v-10. Whenhe had it towed to the dealer they gave him a hard time. I said pull the dipstick and i was good on oil. I have no idea what happened to it. This is also the same dealership we spend thousands of dollar a year in maintainence with.

it blew up cause it was gas and not diesel ... a truck that big is a waste w/o a diesel !!!!

I_Pant I could really care less its not my truck. Its my dads and if he decides he needs to spend close to 40,000 on a gas truck then that is on him. It wouldn't have happened to a chevy lol.

Well, Chevy folks, look at it this way. The '04 F350's with the PSD had an overwhelming amount of warranty claims cause fords new "engine design" was causing those bad boys to go BANG. I personally talked with a pal of mine who is a Ford tech and he said that they had recalled a large number of these trucks. I'll stick with my Chevy. Props on the gear dude. Keep up the good work. Looks like you're doing alright!

Arlarsh it the lazer z hp it has a 23 horse Kawi on it. We put a srtipping roller onit o achieve the strip we wanted. It could be a little more powerful as far as the deck goes. It has a hard time running doubles. Cuts great even with gator, we run gators all year because we cut right throuh the rain. Its a great mower!

Good thing its got a 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. Let me guess, '03 Diesel?

Well Chevy folks, look at it this way, your kinda wrong there. It's not "Ford's design" ok, it's Navistar's design. Ford did not and does not build the diesel engines ok? that would be like saying that Dodge's new diesel engine is an overwhelming success (becuase that is wrong, Cummins builds the engines). so don't blame Ford for it. Ford and Navistar have a great history of great products and one little problem is not the end of the world. Yes it was a big set-back but from what i heard, Ford and the dealers bent over backward to take care of each one. BTW, FWIW, I know a few people with the 6.0 NAVISTAR PowerStroke that haven't had any problems and they love it. They say it'll smoke a 7.3 off the line....

you don't have to like Fords or PowerStrokes, but if you don't know what you're talking about then keep your mouth shut please.

I dont have either but have driven both, no way will the 6.0 keep up with that 7.3. that 7.3 is BAD. And i am not a ford man.!

Most of the people that i talk to say they wish they had kept there 7.3 insted of buying a new truck, because of all the problems they were having with the 6.0.

And you dont need to get so defensive about the fords man.Chill.

You are partially correct. Ford doesn't manufacture the engines in the pickup's, but they most certainly manufacture diesel engines... Like in some of the 600 and up series used to have a Ford manufactured 6.6l engine...
