Hi all:
Just bought a house with a weed infested back yard. I plan to install Empire or Empress zoysia in the back yard (plug or sod depending on costs).
Question: How do I kill the sedge (yellow I think), umbrella sedge, kyllinga, and spots of common bermuda that are in the yard? I'd rather kill them now than fight them after installing the zoysia. I sprayed glyphosate to kill an area for the swing set and it did a number on the grass (and crabgrass! :D ) but the sedge looks darn healthy :(
Suggestions? Thoughts? Comments?
